Repair Process

When you drop your vehicle off at Rick's Collision Center, a simple, yet thorough check-in process begins.

Disassembly/Supplement:

The vehicle then undergoes a complete inspection and disassembly process, which will help identify any hidden or unseen damage which is often discovered on a damaged vehicle.

If additional damage is discovered, a comprehensive supplement is written, which may involve contacting the insurance company for a “re-inspection” appointment. This will eliminate additional costs being passed to the customer.

Order Parts:

Parts are ordered, and received, and the real work begins, as we restore the vehicle back to its original look and feel.

Body Shop:

The vehicle enters the body shop where sheet metal work, and parts replacement takes place.

Frame:

If your vehicle requires frame or unibody repair, our state of the art Frame Machine and measuring system will ensure the highest level of frame repair, and factory precise accuracy.

Refinishing:

The vehicle then goes to our refinishing center, where we take great care to ensure a precise color match, and a seamless, factory restored finish, which we will guarantee for the life of your vehicle.

Reassembly:

Once the vehicle has been expertly painted, it will enter the final stage of the repair, where we take the final steps to reassemble your vehicle, and ensure all of the vehicle’s functionality.

Detail:

Each and every vehicle will receive a courtesy wash and vacuum, prior to its delivery back to you.
